General Overview of Engineers’ Australia Skill Assessment Direction

1) Academic Projects Based Application
Under this pathway, you will require three academic project reports that you did as a part of your university curriculum before making CDR out of them (3 career episodes) addressing engineering skills. Projects submitted must have sufficient evidence showing that they are technically competent.
2) Work-Based Projects Oriented Application
In this pathway, you will require a detailed record of the project done in your work history (if you have work experience) in the related field that you intend to apply for assessment. Projects selected must have sufficient technical details and evidence (snapshots, designs, results, etc.). and must adhere to your nominated ANZSCO codes occupation.
You can apply for different statuses within the Engineering framework. The available options are Professional Engineer, Engineering Technologist, Engineering Associate, and Engineering Manager.

If you do not meet the requirements for your nominated occupation, you will be sent a letter stating that you did not complete the pre-migration skills assessment. The assessment components where your application did not meet the requirements will be indicated in the letter. If you don’t agree with the outcome of your application, you are highly recommended to talk to the assessor, who will then recommend you the available options for a reassessment.
