What is the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List ( )?

One of the first things to do when considering the Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (TSS Visa) subclass 482 is to ensure that your occupation is on the Combined List of Eligible Skilled Occupations. What is the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills list?

The Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MTLSSL) comprises occupations of standard business selected by the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Home Affairs.

This list supplements the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) and the Regional Occupation List (ROL). These three lists are combined to create the Skilled Occupation List (SOL)

How long have Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) occupation visas been issued?

Your visa will get issued for one, two, three, or four years if your profession is listed on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). The sponsoring employer will select the number of years you will get nominated for residence return. Because they will have to pay an upfront levy to the Australian Government for each year you get to set, they might only appoint you for part of the four years as a temporary graduate visa subclass.

You must have worked for the same employer for at least three years to apply for a temporary skilled visa Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme (RSMS) subclass 187 or Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) subclass 186 for PR under the Temporary Residence Transitional stream (TRT).

Visa application costs for MLTSSL occupations

The costs listed below cover the government application fees for a partner visa or regional provisional visa. Additional expenses include using a licensed migration agent, health examinations, English language assessments, or police records.
